Love what you do! Life is too short to be stuck doing something you despise.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To achieve success in life, work with what you’ve got. Focus on your strengths and interests and do the things that bring those to the forefront of your life.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Challenges and obstacles are opportunities for improvement and further success. Everyone has setbacks at some point in their lives. If we didn’t, we wouldn’t be human. The successful individual has the confidence that he can and will do better!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Every so often, it’s very important to step back and re-evaluate your idea of success. There are so many changes in life and with each one you’ll find that your priorities change also. Never underestimate the power that comes from persistence and experience, just don’t forget to enjoy the journey!

‎Why are things difficult at times ?
"It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare; it is because we do not dare that things are difficult."

“Make your relationship bank deposits before you attempt to take withdrawals.”
I have a theory about relationships – all of them – that I wonder if you agree with. This theory can best be described like this.  We each have a “bank account” with each other. It could be you with your spouse or you with your kids or you with your kids’ teachers or you with google (or any other company) or you with your friends.
Each of these relationships has an account. Every time there is a good interaction, there is a deposit, and every time there is a negative interaction, there is a withdrawal. So, are you in balance with those around you, whether that person is a customer or a lover or a grocery store clerk or a child. What is the state of your balance sheet?  Let us know if you agree with this theory.

The Measure of Success

Success is not measured by what you accomplish.

It's measured by the opposition you encounter,

And the courage with which you maintain

Your struggle against the odds

You'll find all things are difficult

Before they are easy.

The greater your obstacles,

the more glory in overcoming them.

So, make up your mind before you start

that sacrifice is part of the package.

No pain, no gain;

No thorns, no throne;

You've got to go through the negative

Before you get to the positive

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Success is not a secret.

It is a choice that is made over and over again. Success is not something that can be denied to you. It is something that you can always choose to accept.

You must be capable of changing and rearranging your priorities so that your final goal can be achieved.

Don't stand in someone else's shadow when it's your sunlight that should lead the way.

Courage is the discovery that you may not win, and trying when you know you can lose
But win u will as the courageous always do !!!

And that means, as Adlin Sinclair said, “You are the embodiment of the information you choose to accept and act upon. To change your circumstances you need to change your thinking and subsequent actions.”

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lily Tomlin hit the nail on the head when she said, “The road to success is always under construction”
And Anon backs that up with a nice little play on words, “Success comes in cans; failure in can’ts.” (I love language plays like that.)
Albert Einstein offers up a great formula for success, “If A is a success in life, then A equals x plus y plus z. Work is x; y is play; and z is keeping your mouth shut.” Funny how many people forget just how critical ‘Z’ is to achieving ‘A’.
But it is T.S. Eliot who offers up the real truth of the subject, “Success is relative: It is what we can make out of the mess we have made of things.”

Maintaining a comfort zone can lead to discomfort in long run:

S-T-R-E-T-C-H out of your Comfort Zone
Stretching yourself and expanding your comfort zone is an important part of personal development. Each step advances you to the next level and keeps you on the path of self-improvement. Unfortunately, if you choose to remain in your comfort zone you will never find out what your true potential is or what you are capable of achieving. Nor can you really succeed at anything without venturing out of the comfort of your safety net. But don’t panic in a knee jerk reaction.

How do you accept success ?

You accept success by making the effort instead of making excuses. You accept success by taking responsibility instead of counting on someone else to do it for you. You accept success by being truthful with others and, just as importantly, with yourself. You accept success when things get tough, by being positive and innovative instead of becoming despondent. You accept success by being who you are and by contributing what you can, rather than pretending to be someone else. Every day you can choose either to accept success or to just let it pass you by. With each thought, each word, each action, choose to accept success.
It doesn't matter whether you are trying to succeed at work, in your relationship or with your wealth the principles are the same.
The following top six tips will help you succeed no matter what:

1. Know what you want :
You must have the desire to succeed. This means you need to know what you want in life and be able to identify the actions that you need to take to achieve your goals. Goals provide a guide to your destination in life and without them, others determine where you'll end up.
2. Never give up :
Persistence is the number one thing for being successful. It's easy for people to become disheartened when they are criticised or encounter a hurdle while trying to achieve their goals, but to be a true success you must persist through the criticism, rejection, pressure and failure. A fighting spirit will make you succeed.
3. Believe in yourself :
To be successful you need to have a positive outlook and believe that you can achieve your goals. When you feel good about yourself, you react more confidently to life's challenges. If you believe in yourself and push yourself through shyness and self-doubt you will succeed more far than you will fail. Believe and you will achieve.
4. Never stop learning :
Successful people never stop learning. They learn from their mistakes, new experiences and other people. Learning at every opportunity increases your knowledge in old and new areas and keeps you ahead in your field. Read books, acquire new skills and seek additional training and it will definitely set you apart from the rest.
5. Do what you love :
To do something well you must at least like it, but it helps to love it. Being passionate about the things you spend your time on is energising and motivates you to succeed. Do what you love, and success will come.
6. Avoid conditional happiness :
Too many of us believe that if some problem resolved itself we would finally be happy. But striving for happiness without sitting back and finding happiness at this particular point in your life is no way to live. Successful people avoid delayed gratification and don't sit around waiting for problems to resolve. Successful people find happiness at every instance, rather than just when they think things are going right for them.

Different Areas of Success
Because there are different areas of success, you can be successful in one area and unsuccessful in others. In order to develop a plan for your success, you need to make your own list of areas that are relevant to you.
To achieve overall success in life, you’ll need to examine your priorities in each area.
For many of us, there are 3 main components of success. In your personal plan for success, there may be even more. Be sure to include any areas that are important to you.
Here are the 3 main areas, along with some tips and techniques to help you evaluate your priorities and formulate your success plan:

1. Career.

To evaluate your career, contemplate these questions:
Do you desire a higher status position?
What amount of income would make you happy?
Would you simply like to feel appreciated by your boss?
Any number of things can be used to measure your success when it comes to your career.
In your career evaluation, be sure to determine what strengths and weaknesses you have that can help or hinder you from achieving your goal.

2. Emotional.

These questions can guide you to important considerations for your emotional success:
Are you satisfied with your relationships?
What have you learned so far that could help you do better in the future?
If you have children, do you feel successful in how you’re raising them?
Is your marriage a happy one?
TRUE LOVE : A boy plays Carrom and is afraid to loose the 'QUEEN' & the girl plays the Chess risking everything just to protect the 'KING' !

"Every Man needs a Woman when his life is a mess.. because just like the game of chess the Queen protects the King.

3. Health.

Are you doing everything you can to improve your overall well-being? Maybe a change in diet and exercise is in order. Take a moment to evaluate whether you’ve achieved success in this area or if there’s room for improvement.
If your health can use a boost, make a plan to start implementing changes in your daily routine that lead to a healthier lifestyle.
I suggest doing some form of meditation and visioning each day. Then as you go through your day be aware of your thoughts as they come to you and adjust them if they are not positive, little by little positive thoughts will be the dominate thoughts.
Success is overcoming the Fear of Failure

The Fear of Failure deserves the top spot because it rules over all our actions and decisions, we all do and don’t do things in order to avoid failure.
Failure can be a lot of things; realizing you don’t live your life the way you wanted to, not succeeding in your plans, finding yourself helpless, or in the worst cases even hitting rock-bottom.
Failure is a very ambiguous and subjective term because failure is not on the same level and perspective to everyone, what counts as failure to one might not be even halfway there to another.
To some, failure is actually a way to learn lessons and try again, so it is not really an end, but a tool for future reference.
The main fear of failing comes with the disappointment that follows, that feeling that despite your effort, nothing seemed to go as you wished it did, and it causes a feeling like you might not even want to try again.
That is why this is the worst fear of all, the fear or failure is very often used as an excuse to procrastinate or not do anything to make situations better – “why bother?” and “I’m just not good enough”.

The Journey to Success

Your journey to success will have highs and lows throughout your life. There will be mistakes and disappointments. You may experience a setback at some point. The beauty is that you can get back on track and move closer to your goals at any time.

You may achieve new levels of success at different times in your life and career. As you progress in your job, start a family, and get involved in giving back to your community, your definition of success may change, as do your priorities. Go with the flow; it’s okay for your outlook on life and your meaning of success to change over time.

Success & Entrepreneurs

Remarkable Entrepreneurs don't manage time. They manage themselves   ............. Robin Sharma

People who can’t manage their own lives don’t make good entrepreneurs. Managing self effectively is the best preparation for managing a new business. It means we understand our self, and are likely able to read other people and understand them, leading to a trusting relationship with team and customers. More importantly, managing yourself gives you a deeper understanding of what you value and how you define success.
